Where do the cool people shop?

Markets. That's right, markets. We're not talking about the old clothes in the boot of the car kind of markets either. We are talking hip. Cool. Stylish.

Both established and Up & Coming designers are vying for stall space at the plethora of boutique style markets cropping up around the country, where you can buy everything from clothing to cupcakes.

If you are serious about kids fashion and finding those gorgeous unique, quality pieces that turn heads in the playground, then look no further than Mathilda's Market. Originating in Melbourne in early 2007 as a bi-annual market, demand has seen Mathilda’s Market grow to present three times throughout 2009 in each of the following locations: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.

However, it's more than just clothing. Toys, accessories, homewares - forget the department store sale madness, this is the place to stock up on beautiful gifts for all the little people in your life. I have my list and I'm checking it twice.

Those in Brisbane, look out for the TikiBoo bird and come and say hello to us!

Mathilda's Market Dates

9am - 1pm

Sydney - 5 July 2009 - St Ignatius College Riverview, Lane Cove
Perth - 19 July 2009 - Oasis Leisure Centre, Progress Way, Belmont
Brisbane - 19 July 2009 - Brisbane City Hall, B/w Adelaide & Ann St, King George Square, Brisbane City

They will on again in November in Sydney, Preth, Brisbane, Canberra & Melbourne, check the website for details.

Hello, via BlogThis, fellow Seekers fan! Love your blog but I'm afraid to visit it too often, lest I drain the bank account. I hadn't heard about Mathilda's Markets or that they visit Perth so I'm thrilled to read this post.
